About
As a violinist and music arranger, I create performances shaped by emotion, clarity, and a deep sense of storytelling, bringing a refined sound and a stylish, expressive approach to music.
Born and raised in León, Spain, I moved to London in 2011 to further my studies and develop my performing and teaching career. I hold a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in Violin Performance from the Eduardo Martínez Torner Conservatoire in Oviedo, Spain, where I studied under violinist and pedagogue José Ramón Hevia and participated in masterclasses with Héctor Corpus, Aitor Hevia, and Natalia Lomeiko. During my studies, I performed regularly with youth and chamber orchestras, including Jeunesses Musicales, the Oviedo International Youth Orchestra, and the Asturias Symphony Youth Orchestra. After relocating to London, I continued my development by studying with David Ballesteros, an inspiring professor and member of the London Symphony Orchestra, attending workshops with Simon Fischer through the European String Teachers Association (ESTA), and Alina Ibragimova at the Royal Academy of Music.
While deeply rooted in the classical tradition, my musical journey has naturally expanded into jazz and contemporary styles through collaborations with artists such as singer-songwriter Josh Geffin, jazz pianist Tom Sochas, and French composer Thierry Deneux. I have performed extensively as an orchestral musician and as part of a violin duo, working with ensembles across Spain and the UK.
Whether interpreting classical repertoire or creating bespoke arrangements for session work, I bring emotional honesty, musical precision, and a strong sense of storytelling to every performance.
I am an active member of Duo Klier, alongside violinist Pablo Castro, where we perform original works for two violins and create tailored arrangements for violin duet.
Alongside performing, teaching is a central part of my musical life. In 2012, I joined The DaCapo Music Foundation, where I trained for five years in the Kodály method and the Dalcroze approach, both of which encourage learning music in an active, physical, and intuitive way. During this time, I served as Musician in Residence, helping to develop and perform educational concerts and workshops for schools. I am a co-founder of Muswell Hill Violin Studio in London, where I combine professional performance with high-quality music education in a supportive and thoughtful environment. I have also completed specialist training with the North London Music Hub, gaining skills to support neurodivergent students in their musical learning.
My interest in Psychology and Psychoanalysis has led me to pursue a part-time Bachelor's degree in Psychology with UNED, further enriching my understanding of learning, development, and individual differences.
Recent highlights include performing Camille Saint-Saëns’ Danse Macabre at the CFAR psychoanalytic lecture What Happens When We Can No Longer Love? Surprise and Psychoanalysis, featuring Lacanian analyst Astrid Zeceña.
I believe in the power of music to communicate what words cannot, and I see music-making as a gift to be shared, both through performing and teaching.
As a session musician, I am available for studio recordings and live performances, including gallery openings, private celebrations, corporate events, and special occasions. I bring warmth, sensitivity, and expressive depth to every project, connecting naturally and meaningfully with both the audience and the atmosphere.
Music is the literature of the heart, it commences where speech ends.
