A remote orchestral collaboration recorded during the COVID-19 lockdown.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, I was invited to take part in the recording of While We Wait, an orchestral work composed by Tom Sochas and conducted by Dimitri Soudoplatoff. The project brought together musicians recording individually in their homes during a period of isolation..

Each performer recorded and filmed their orchestral part independently using professional audio equipment, before the individual contributions were assembled into a complete orchestral performance. I prepared and recorded my part in a single uninterrupted take, ensuring both musical and technical precision.

The result is a fully realised orchestral work created through collective effort despite physical separation; a reflection of creative resilience and collaboration during an extraordinary period.
